Noel is a Co-Founder of Augment Markets, Inc. Previously, he was engineer #10 at Rubrik, an $18B public data security company. He has 14 years of experience building products as an engineer and entrepreneur. At Rubrik, he worked on backend distributed systems, notably leading the conception of their cloud-native offering, accounting for $500M+ in revenue today. The inspiration behind Augment came from first-hand experience with secondary markets. After leaving Rubrik, he needed liquidity for life events. The journey to sell a portion of his private Rubrik holdings was opaque, slow, and challenging. Making private markets more transparent, liquid, and accessible became his obsession. In 2022, Noel built Augment v1 in three months.
Noel holds Series 7 and 63 securities licenses. He studied Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of California, Berkeley. He lives in Austin with his wife, two kids, and Golden Retriever.
Adam has spent more than two decades in financial markets, building a reputation as one of the earliest and most experienced players in the private market. He began his career at Morgan Stanley’s institutional trading desk, covering fixed income and equities for global asset managers, then joined SharesPost in 2013. At SharesPost he ran institutional trading and partnerships, helping the platform process hundreds of millions in pre-IPO transactions before its acquisition by Forge Global (FRGE).
Before founding Augment, Adam also directed secondary market strategy for a multi-family office, giving him a 360-degree view of how investors source, price, and exit private company stakes.
Today he runs Capital Markets at Augment and serves as Chief Executive Officer of Augment Capital, the company’s registered broker-dealer and Alternative Trading System. He has built a global network of private market investors and traders through years spent living and working in the US, Europe, Australia, Asia, and the Middle East.
Adam holds FINRA Series 7, 24, and 63 licenses. He studied International Business and Finance at James Madison University and stays grounded through regular Qigong training with his mentor Master Yang.
